Saving Ayda

Hi everyone, my name is Megan and I'm a Vet Tech at The Elgin Animal Clinic. Today, this beautiful girl was brought in by her 'owners' for ongoing seizures. They claimed to have found her outside around 3 weeks ago, and that she was 40~lbs then. As of today, she weighs 24 lbs and doesn't even have the energy to lift her head. Thankfully the owners relinquished her, and I'll be taking her in to provide her with the love and care she needs to get back on her feet and live her life happily. As of right now, her medical bills are expected to total around $1,000, as she needs to be hospitalized and given diagnostic procedures to see what was causing the seizures.
