My husband, Michael Berry, was rushed to the local hospital with chest pain. He had a mild heart attack. He was having numbness in his extremities and severe chest pain. After several test they discovered he had an aortic aneurysm that burst. He was helicoptered into another hospital. He was in an extremely bad condition. Due to previous bypasses that closed up and scar tissue he did not die immediately. He ended up having a eight hour surgery and they had to completely repair and replace much of his heart and artery as well as another bypass with also replacement of the valve. He survived for 10 days on complete life support until he finally lost his fight. He only had Medicare insurance without a gap plan. The medical bills will be huge to me over what Medicare can pay. I will try to see if I can get additional assistance. This is the reason we are reaching out to anyone that can help us with these expenses. We appreciate anyone who considers helping and who helps us with this overwhelming financial burden. This is now not only to help with the bills but to help me, his wife Dina, to get our affairs in order to be able to make it on my own. I could really use the help.
