Nikki is a mother and educator who works as a middle school counselor and a college professor. She has a smile that can brighten anyone's day and is a blessing to those whose lives she's touched. She is dedicated to the serving others and helps her community in any way she can. She volunteers with multiple organizations throughout California benefitting youth, homeless, and at risk Veterans. Recently Nikki was rushed to the emergency room with excruciating abdominal pain. After a myriad of tests a cancerous growth was found; She was immediately admitted and underwent emergency surgery to treat and remove portions of the growth. Thankfully the surgery went well and she has begun her recovery.  Unfortunately Nikki is unable to work during her recovery leaving her with no income; as well not being able to support her family, Nikki doesn't have a balance of sick leave, or comp time to aid her financially which could soon result in her family losing their home.
