Support for Justin

Hi! I am Denise Salgado. I am close to Justin’s parents Elsie and Berto and the rest of his family! I am organizing a online fundraiser to help them with the cost of funeral service. I am asking to give back to a family that has given so much to this community.

 

Our beloved Justin recently passed on April, 15,2022. Justin was a wonderful son, grandson,brother, nephew, cousin and friend to many.  Justin touched the lives of those around Holyoke. He leaves behind his parents Elsie Rodriquez-García and Berto García, his brother Jonathan Chavez, his grandparents, aunts and cousins. Justin dedicated his life to building community.  He started the Annual Thanksgiving Dinner at Kelly School. He was a local performer using his talents to amplfy what's good about Holyoke. Super Proud to be a Holyoker. He had a heart for the young people and his community. The entire Holyoke community is devastated by Justin's loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to honor Justin's life and give him the burial and  memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. The family is  currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Justin’s funeral. We need to raise $15k by ASAP in order to be able to afford the funeral service.
