I got behind on taxes. I missed a deadline to get caught up and my house was bought for the cost of the late taxes. I worked for 30 plus years as a mental health specialist to pay the house off. The stress of my job landed me in the hospital twice on the verge of having a stroke. I quit after I had made enough to pay off the house. But since then have struggled to keep up with bills. I think it is criminal how people do this to others, put people in the streets just for profit.
