Hi, my name is Eduardo, and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this.

Six months ago, I heard the words no one ever expects to hear: “You have stage 3 cancer.”

In that moment, my whole world stopped. Since then, every day has been a mix of fear, hope, pain, and determination. I’m fighting not just for my health, but for my future, my family, and the chance to live the life I’m meant to live.

Cancer has taken away my strength at times, but it hasn’t taken away my spirit. I’m showing up to every appointment, every treatment, and every difficult day determined to beat this. But the truth is, this battle has also brought financial challenges that I simply can’t face alone. I’ve been unable to work like before, and the medical costs, bills, and basic expenses keep piling up faster than I can keep up with.

Asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. But I’ve learned that strength isn’t just surviving alone; sometimes it’s allowing others to lift you when you can’t carry everything yourself.
