My name is Mike Havrda and I'm a full time student and collegiate soccer player at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. I am a humble First Generation college student who believes that everyone should have the chance to be enlightened. Growing up with not having very much, I know the importance of hope, and I want to give that same hope to somebody else this summer. The soccer team and I have been given the opportunity to be apart of a life changing experience in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. I will have the chance to spread the Lord's gospel overseas in my first mission trip along with training sessions and bible lessons to reach the youth, help with the development of Holy Nations SC, organize a soccer tournament for kids, work with The Street Child United program, and take part in a mentorship program too. I am creating this gofundme in hopes of being able to purchase a roundtrip plane ticket from Dallas to Brazil (the TRIP is July 28th-August 10th). The SAGU Mission Trip would mean a lot to me because I would be able to share my own personal testimony and change lives through Christ just as my life has been changed. There are no words for how thankful I would be for any donation, whether it be big or little. Anything helps!!!
