Helping the Children of Ukraine
Donation protected
My name is Lisa Mostovoy. I was 11 years old when I fled Kyiv, Ukraine with my parents. This past month, the horror of what is the Russian regime has flooded back to me as my own daughters now remind me that if I hadn’t left, that could have been our family. My heart breaks as I hear the war stories from our family and friends from Ukraine. Having my own two daughters, ages 16 and 8, I can’t fathom the difficulties Ukrainians have to face these days as they’re being displaced from their homeland. There are amazingly kind people in this world who are supporting Ukrainian refugees by opening up their homes, schools, and creating refugee shelters. Our family would like to help support the efforts of four Polish schools and an orphanage that have opened their doors and hearts to hundreds of Ukrainian refugee kids. We are grateful for having a community of friends and colleagues who care about what is happening in the world and are willing to help bring some sense of comfort and normalcy to Ukrainian kids in need. With incredible gratitude and appreciation, the MostoBuck family.
Donations will be sent to four schools and an orphanage in Poland that are supporting Ukrainian refugee children: Szkola Podstawowa in Krakow, Czernichow, and Warszawa, Zespół szkolno przedszkolny in Krakow, and Szafirowe Zlotksa in Moryn.
