Weight loss Surgery

Hi, my name is Michelle and I am fundraising for weight loss surgery. About a year ago I started on my weight loss journey because I realized that I wanted to be around during my grandma years. I researched and spoke with my doctor and he recommended bariatric surgery. I began by going to the intake class and actually learning about the surgery and the steps I needed to take to accomplish my goals. Each month I met with a nutritionist and talked about my trials and my triumphs and each month I was one step closer to obtaining that ultimate goal. Earlier this month I went to my last class and met all the goals and even lost 19 pounds in the process, exceeding the 14 pound goal they set up for me. Through this whole process I have learned a lot about my health and wanting to live a long life with my husband. After working so hard to get where I am I realized I was not going to be able to come up with the money to have the surgery after what the insurance would cover. I prayed about it and talked to friends and my husband and they recommended that I start this GoFundMe to ask for your support so I can continue on my journey.
