In Support of Raffaele Mitrugno's Family

Raffaele Mitrugno was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident the afternoon of October 31st.  He was returning home to meet his family for an evening of Halloween festivities.  His two sons and wife were eagerly awaiting for their dad to take them trick-or-treating.

 The motorcycle crash occurred in Miami, at the intersection of Southwest 17th Avenue and U.S. 1.  This devastating incident is sadly not the first to happen at this deadly intersection. 

Raffaele's infectious smile and beautiful energy filled the room.  He was a devoted and wonderful partner, father, son, brother and friend.  His loving spirit will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him.   

Raffaele is survived by his life partner, Maria Alejandra,  and their two beautiful boys, Massimo (7 years old) and Matteo (15 months).  Raffaele’s mother, father and sister live in Italy, where Raffaele grew up.   

The family is completely grief-stricken over the loss of Raffaele.  As they navigate through the difficult grieving process and move forward with Raffaele's memory, the funds donated through this campaign will help alleviate some of the financial burdens that the family will face.
