Friends, family, and community—

We are reaching out on behalf of our dear coworker and friend, Angela. This past week, her world was turned upside down when her young son suffered a sudden cardiac event while swimming. He drowned, but by the grace of God and the quick response of those around him, including his 10 year old sister who acted fast to pull Elijah out of the pool, CPR was initiated. He is now intubated and receiving care on ECMO at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Angela is a single mother of three who has already endured a very difficult year. She has been holding her family together with strength and faith, but as you can imagine, the weight of this medical emergency has been overwhelming—emotionally, physically, and financially. Her paid time off is quickly running out, and the expenses for travel, meals, bills, and medical needs continue to grow.

We are asking our community to come together in prayer first and foremost—for healing, strength, and complete restoration for her son. If you feel led, we also ask you to consider making a contribution. Every dollar will go directly to Angela to help relieve the financial burden so she can focus on being present with her child.

Angela has always been someone who gives selflessly to others. Now it is our turn to surround her with love, support, and the reminder that God never leaves us in times of trial. Please join us in lifting this family up.
