Help Hank Heal

Hello Internet,

This past July, I was in a serious accident that crushed part of my lower leg. After double digit operations, multiple hospitals and a stint in rehab, I am thankful to have kept my leg attached to the rest of me.

The journey isn’t over yet, and won’t be for at least another year. The surgeries will

continue, as will the follow up appointments and in home nursing visits. Unfortunately, that means that the medical bills will also continue to roll in. Insurance has been helpful(ish) so far but there are a lot of things they do not cover. Or at least I can’t figure out how to get them to cover yet.

I’m asking for support to help ease the financial burden while I focus on healing and regaining mobility. Any donation, big or small, makes a difference, and I’m beyond thankful for the love and encouragement I’ve already received.

I can’t say enough about every single person that has helped me out with life situations, come to visit, called, texted or even just put some positive vibes in the air for me during this last month and change. That has meant the absolute world to me and has gotten me through some of the tougher days and nights.

I hate having to write this and beg for help but I’ve been encouraged to by multiple friends so here it is. Please don’t feel obligated. But every bit of this will go towards bills and maybe a dog toy for Jetdog.
