Help Me To Further My Education As A Yoga Teacher

My name is Alexandra Santos and I started practicing Ashtanga Yoga 14 years ago. I made my initial journey to India to study with Sharath Jois in 2009. The Ashtanga Yoga practice changed my life for the better, it inspired me to share this method with as many people as I can. I firmly believe in my heart that the whole world would be a better place if more people practiced mindfulness. It has always been my purpose and my mission to grow the shift of awareness. Being in India with Sharath will help to further my studies and deepen my knowledge of the Ashtanga method, so I can continue to share it with my dear students. It’s been a few years since I’ve seen my Teacher. So in that time I have been practicing by myself alone without a teacher at 3am six times a week. I haven’t been able to take my yearly trips to India to visit my teacher due to passing of my brother, knee surgery and arrival of a newborn, lastly the lack of funds. I feel the need in my life right now to find inspiration and be a student again. Spending time with my dear teacher, advancing my knowledge and focusing on my practice, while connecting with my inner self is so important. Your teacher in the Ashtanga Yoga method is crucial for spiritual growth. There the one’s who take you from darkness to light, from fear to courage. If I ever have in anyway helped you, inspired, or made an impact in your life by sharing with you the Ashtanga method the way it was taught to me by my teacher, Sharath Jois please help me to make this learning journey a reality.
