No Justice Here (MOM) Shannon Rhodes

My family and I have watched as my mom painfully and slowly has depleted. She is at Oregon Health Science University fighting for her life. She had her hip replaced about 10 or so years ago and has never had a problem with it. In March a doctor at a certain local hospital convinced her to have the replacement replaced. She was not having problems with it at all. It has not been an issue the whole time. After the surgery she was having complications due to infection she received at the hospital.They have taken out and replaced her hip 3 times since March, taking so much bone off every time that her right leg is a few inches shorter now, and probably would never walk again if she were to live. She has been in such heart breaking pain the whole time. The hospital has shuffled her around from place to place, been so cruel and mean to someone that is sick because of them. They have degraded her, belittled her, embarrassed her and have shown zero compassion. As she lives off a ventilator in the ICU for the time being her bills keep coming. I’m asking for help for my mom. I can’t do it by myself. This has been so hard on my family and myself and we feel helpless. Hopefully she will pull out of it but it is not looking good. Hopefully these same medical “professionals” that have treated my mom so bad will never have to go through what they have done to her. It’s heart breaking.
