Sean and I as many of you know are the new owners of Game Table Adventures now for a little over 3 years, we have been proud to be a part of this most amazing community, providing a safe environment for all walks of life. We are so grateful, and fortunate that we have been able to create so many things not only for our community but also the Newark community. Some of our additional resources we have created is providing those who are in need of emergency food, diapers, baby food, formula, and even those who just needed support in getting help with depression along with addictions.
We have always believed that a small business is more than just a place of commerce; it’s a gathering place, a pillar of the community, and a shared space for our neighbors and friends. As I say often we are a store family. Sean and I have loved being here to watch the growth of the gaming groups/ community and seeing all the original faces of Game Table Adventures resurface. We are creating so many different types of ways to bring together more of the community inside our doors so everyone can take part in the atmosphere that we have created. I have created Kat’s Kreations to bring different selections of merchandise. Thank you to all those who have participated in buying and sharing my crafts! Some other examples of these projects are having craft/pizza nights for the kids monthly, creating a Pokemon kids group (18 and under) and opening up the back play area once a month to people who would like to sale/share their handmade crafts, clothing, 3D prints, bake goods, items they would just like to sale and much more.
Unfortunately, due to my cancer diagnosis progression and the medical cost that came with this along with the recent economic downturn, we are facing the very real possibility of closing our doors for good. My medical conditions have been tough along with the rising cost of products, the cost of day to day operations we fought hard to recover, we are now at a critical point.
This is why Sean and I are humbly reaching out to you today. We need your help to keep our doors open and possibly losing our home and with all that we have worked so hard to accomplish/achieve. Our goal is to raise enough money to cover property taxes on the store’s property, product past due bills so that we are not forced to go in default and lose all our product that restocks our shelves for the community.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a direct and immediate impact.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly via text [phone redacted] via email [email redacted] or come directly into the store.
Thank you for your time and for being a huge part of our story. I sincerely hope we can continue to be a part of yours for years to come.
