Maria and I have been removing invasive lionfish ever since we first spotted one in the Caribbean in 2009. We love to SCUBA dive and photograph beautiful marine life. This lionfish invasion is wreaking havoc upon our fragile ecosystems and remains out of control. The development of a lionfish specific trap will greatly aide in their removals and could be a real game changer in this battle.
We have already successfully tested our trap prototypes and now need to develop the gated entry system to target ONLY lionfish and exclude all other marine life. This is where we need your help!
