Hi, my name is Uroos Atif. On February 8th 2023, my seven year old daughter Sarah was diagnosed with Diffused Midline Glioma which is the most aggressive forms of brain cancer.
FEBRUARY 2023
She has had one brain surgery for biopsy and hydrocephalus. She is currently going through radiotherapy at UCLH.
DMG is a terminal (inoperable and untreatable), aggressive brain tumour. Sarah's tumour is in thalamus area.
We have got a little hope that the drug ONC201 can kill cancer cells and may be more effective in patients who have tumour in the thalamus with a specific genetic mutation in their tumor: the H3 K27M mutation. This drug ONC201 (is not provided in the UK) which may be helpful to save her life or even prolong it. There are other countries which provide the trails for ONC201. We are looking into it.
Our ultimate goal is to spend as much time with Sarah and to make her happy and comfortable. Your contribution will greatly help Sarah. Your support and well wishes are appreciated.

MARCH 2023
We are in talks with few of the hospital in USA and Netherlands to get ONC201 treatment.
Sarah, after radiotherapy today.
Sarah have reached half-way through her radiotherapy.
Sarah finished her radiotherapy on 24th Mar 2023. Her post radiotherapy MRI scan is due on 11th May 2023. Now our ultimate goal is to finalise that trial we want to get her into.
APRIL 2023
We are already in contact with Princess Maxima (Netherlands), as they are providing trials for ONC201.
We are waiting for finalising the trial in between our consultants and Princess Máxima team.
We also have an option to get ONC201 from Germany.

Now our main focus is to raise funds to take Sarah to Netherlands. We hope we would have enough funds by June 2023.
