Another Cancer Victim

Hello.

I recently have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has spread to my liver. I have one more test to do today, a PET scan. Then I will be meeting with my cancer doctor on Friday to make a treatment plan. The cost that it's going to involve is overwhelming. I have insurance, but the co-pays are high. The Cancer Center said they could help me with finding assistance to pay my medical bills. I don't know how much, but it must be enough for them to proceed with treating me. So that much is taken care of, I believe, but it's my everyday bills that have got me in a bind. I have a job that I haven't been doing too much because of sickness, and other than that, I have my social security check. I recently had to move, and all I could find was a place for double what I am used to paying, and the utilities in this town are also more costly. So, there is where I need help. Everyone knows the cost of groceries goes up every time you go to the store, it seems like. I do go to a food bank, but it's only available to me once a month, so it doesn't last long. And then the gas it takes to go to the center. It takes about 3/4 of a tank for a round trip. I am overwhelmed with all that is happening to me right now and I could use some help so I can make it by. I need a good state of mind during whatever treatments I receive and a good diet. It's not good for me to be upset and worried about everything during treatments. If anyone can help me, I would so appreciate it. I'm single, so it's only my income that I probably won't have for a while, but I do get my social security. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me.
