Our mom, Nancy, is one of the strongest people we know. She has always been stubbornly independent, hardworking, and the kind of person who will never ask for help — which is why we are asking on her behalf.

This past July she was diagnosed with stage 3 non-small cell lung cancer. Her treatment plan includes daily radiation and chemotherapy over the next several weeks. While insurance covers much of her medical care, the reality is that she will have to work less while in treatment. That means the everyday bills — rent, utilities, groceries, and more — will become a struggle.

Our mom has always been a workaholic, dedicating her life to her patients as a caregiver and to making sure her kids and grandkids are cared for. She is the heart of our family — deeply loving, compassionate, and always ready to drop everything to be there for us. She adores her children (Hope and Jason) and her grandkids, Leah, Danny, Preston, and Lillie. She makes sure we all have what we need, no matter the cost to herself.

Now it’s our turn to be there for her.

We are raising funds to help take away some of the financial burden so she can focus fully on her fight.
