Pistachio Groove and upcoming work!

Pistachio Groove is a new tap dance and music collective based in Boston, MA. We are thrilled to announce that in June 2024, we will be presenting our first full evening length show, "Mixed Nuts," at the Dance Complex in Cambridge, MA! The work will showcase new ideas in choreography, improvisation, and composition, exploring tap dance with live musicians.

In addition to creating this body of work, we are also currently fully self-funded. Every member of the group has the opportunity to develop their skills in a concert dance space, from choreographer and performer to artistic director and composer. Incorporation of live music is also very important to our artistic vision. The generous help of your donations will help us continue to create work for tap dancers and musicians in the Boston area, including costs such as renting space and equipment for rehearsals and performances as well as compensating the musicians whose involvement brings our work to life.
