Hebrews 6:19, "We have this HOPE as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."
"Hope is not pretending that troubles don't exist. It is the hope that they won't last forever. That hurts will be healed and difficulties overcome. That we will be led out of the darkness and into the sunshine." -Anonymous
Hope is what Jon and Dori hold onto during this difficult time. Hope in a perfect God in an imperfect world. Hope in His promises when life doesn't seem promising.
On April 18, 2017, Jon received a phone call that he could not unanswer. Heard a word he could not unhear. Cancer. Mantle Cell Lymphoma. In a split second their lives were turned upside down. And yet, their faith, their hope, remains strong.
As Christians they believe and stand on His promises. They claim Jon's healing. And in the meantime, as they wait for his healing, there will be many doctor's appointments. Jon will need extensive chemotherapy. He will undergo R-CHOP and a stem cell transplant. There will be many days spent in the hospital. There will be many trips made back and forth to St. Louis and lots of meals on the go and so forth. As you can imagine things will add up quickly. Many of you have asked what you can do to help. This is one way, if you're able, to help them. Any gift is appreciated. If you can't give, please pray. If you can give, please pray. They covet your prayers.

Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
