As many of you know, I suffered a massive heart attack on 3/12/25 @ 11:30 PM (a stent was placed). This led to horrible leg sores from the catheter that was inserted in my groin, which I'm still dealing with (very painful). I was in the ICU for approx 2 weeks, completely unconscious. I also suffer from foot drop (or drop foot), which makes me unable to walk on my own or drive. After ICU, I was moved to a regular room for approx a week, then sent to rehab for approx another week. I've had 2 surgeries since being released, as I've had blockages which caused more pain and swelling. The first surgery was on both legs, the second was on my abdomen (stent was placed, as had bad blockage) and right leg (balloon was placed and removed to open up the blockage). Since I've been home, I've been and will continue for quite some time to see multiple doctors (heart, surgeon, pain doctor, wound care, nerve doctor). I will have to go to physical therapy (or they will come to me, not sure yet) once my sores heal, which will take quite some time. The foot drop may be permanent as I was told. I have to use oxygen at night as I failed the oxygen test (to low) while sleeping. I was told by many (at hospital, rehab, family dr, home nurses, and heart dr that it was a miracle that I survived. I'm very grateful to all who helped save my life.

I applied for charity care through the hospital, which I was approved for, but it does not cover all the doctors, tests, etc., only the hospital portion. Please share and thank you ❤️
