July 26, 2017 a tragic event occurred. Mike Avila was a victim of a criminal shooting while celebrating his wife Rae-Ann's birthday at "The Block Bar & Grill" where the couple went in for wings . Mike  was shot in the abdomen and hand. He is currently in ICU and just came out of his second surgery. Mike has  sustained severe injuries and is expected to be hospitalized for a minimal of 3 months. Mike is the sole provider of his family; wife and two young babies ages 4 and 2. This life changing event has left this loving, caring, and family oriented family in a state of turmoil. Wife RaeAnn Avila will have to be sole care taker to her husband and their two children.
