This family has been through the ringer and back again. The sole income for the family is the father who is a truck driver. The mother is looking for a job and the house is full of children to support. Tonight, this family, who has opened their home up when others needed a place and provided meals even when they could barely afford to feed themselves, lost their house to a grease fire. This fund will go to help them either rebuild or go towards purchasing another home for them.

This family is Carolyn Kimbrell Salter and Keith Salter and their children.  This family has nothing but themselves at this point. No home. No rental insurance. No money. Nothing. They all survived the fire but they lost their pets, which were like family.
