Hello Everybody! My name is Jordan, I am 19 years old, and I am studying mechanical engineering. I was recently diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma–a very rare and aggressive bone cancer with less than 250 cases in the U.S annually–in my lower-right pelvis. Due to the location of the tumor, I will ultimately have to have about half of my right pelvis removed, including the hip socket. With surgery hopefully coming after initial rounds of treatment , my mother, brother, and I will be unable to work full time; my mother and brother will be the two helping me out over what is likely to be the next 6 to 9 months, meaning they will miss a lot of work. While my father is desperate to be by my side physically, he was unfortunately deported back in 2017, despite working with lawyers towards citizenship. This is expected to be an extremely difficult time for all of my family, not just myself. With that being said, I am graciously asking for donations to help pay bills–both medical and nonmedical–as well as be able to travel to see my father when I am in better health.
