Search And Rescue Training

Donation protected
Meet Darren Schwartz, A 47-year-old caring father of two. He is a hard-working 60 hours a week employee of 29 years, who finds time to volunteer helping others in need. He has been with the San Bernardino Search and Rescue Mountain Team in California for 10 years and recently has gone dual status and joined the Cave Technical Rescue Team. All of Darren‘s efforts are volunteer, all of his equipment he’s purchased himself over time, he has spent countless hours hiking the mountains and deserts in search of your loved ones. He has the opportunity to advance his knowledge by attending to the National Cave Rescue Commission Seminar in May. He lives in California the training is in Indiana. He will need about $2000 to make this happen. I am asking for donations to help him get to this training, and to help with any gear he may need. He will gain the knowledge to better prepare, so he can save the ones we love. When you’re lost, scared, hungry and possibly hurt, on top of a mountain or stuck in a cave...because as crazy as it sounds, it happens...or when your toddler or furry friend takes a wrong step down a mine, you want the best trained individual on it, let’s help Darren become that! For those of you who know D, you know what a good guy he is, never asks for anything, will help anyone, he’s the guy that will hike 20+ miles to find you, give you his food and water clothes in his pack, and bring you back safely. Thank you for your consideration ❤️“That Others May Live.”
