Help heal Haddie

We did what we were supposed to do.

We planned, we prepared and we set aside funds for emergencies. We could not have foreseen this magnitude of an emergency and unfortunately this particular emergency ate through everything we set aside so quickly.

At this time, Haddies foal has determined to have passed. We must now remove it without causing her further damage and we must be proactive about fighting off further infection. I will be transporting the remains of the foal home to bury them next to our other pets that have gone on to that next place.

I have never created a “go fund me” before and cringe at the thought of it, but without some aid from our friends and family, Haddie may not be able to receive the care she needs in order to come home safely.

Please consider donating any amount to her vet bills. Right now we estimate the total to be around $6,000 but that could of course change.

I will be more than happy to provide copies of receipts as things progress so everyone can see where their money is going.
