My name is Waji, I am a 66 years old carpenter. on 12 December 2023 while walking in a parking lot with my partner, Charlene who suffers from Fibromyalgia were hit by an SUV that disabled both of us and render Charlene unconscious. In the ambulance my blood pressure rose to 230 and the medic told me that I am about to have a heart attack. Two months later on 8 February 2024 I did have a stroke and ended up in the Emergency Room with further damage. Since then, I have been selling my tools and belongings to feed myself and family. In Britch Colombia, Canada where I live the insurance system ICBC does not offer any compensation under the pretence of the misnomer "Enhanced Care Program" which compelled me to establish a website: icbcvictims.ca. The internet is full with horror stories about ICBC. Few days ago, on Saturday 5 February 2025 while returning home from a volunteer commitment at my church's bookstore, my work van with all my tools worth over $20,000 was stolen. I filed a police report with the local police: AB25-14044. My tools were my ATM and the van and the tools were the sum total of my asset. Although my physical condition lacks easy mobility due to the damage from the car accident and the stroke; due to the lack of income I was planning on taking on small light weight carpentry jobs at a discounted rate due to my inability to perform as an able body. I am appealing for help from those whose hearts are open, especially fellow trades people. I need to replace my tools that I may be able to go back to work with my current disabled condition. I am praying that the Lord Jesus Christ opens your heart and lead you to help us. Don't be ashamed to give little, not given is even less. Blessing to all in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Redeemer.
Matthew 10:8 Freely you have received, freely give
Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you
2 Corinthians 9:7 God loves a cheerful giver
Deuteronomy 15:11. You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor, and to your needy in your land.
Since 1980, I converted from my parent's religion, Islam to Christianity. I found the Lord in my heart after reading the Sermon on the mount in Mathew 5,6, and 7. Since then I have been attending services twice per week and have been relying on the pure light of Christ for guidance, protection and supply. After praying about my condition, I was inspired to appeal to the hearts of humanity to help me recover from this difficult situation.
I thank you all for reading my story and pray that the Lord keeps you and yours and protect you from all harm and fill your days with joy and plentitude of blessings.
