Home care help

This is not something I was expecting to have to do or was it even a thought until it was recommended to me. I am even cringing as I am writing this because I am not big on asking for help.  Please think of it as more of a loan than a handout. When this ordeal is over I plan on paying each and every donation back so if you are kind enough to donate please dont do it annonomosly so I can return your good deed.  
My mom was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and would like to remain at home, which her blessing will be granted. She is currently at a skilled nursing facility for rehab so she can move about a little better and to a decent quality of life. In about 10 days her services will be up and she will be coming home and will get some home services, which is very helpful. She will need someone there around the clock, which will be me. My job has been very good to me and is supportive but I will have to be out awhile with no pay. I would need a little help just to keep the house up and running while she is at home. I'm not solely counting on this or just wanting handouts. I am going through my savings as well as tapping into my retirement.
