Josh's Medical Expense Fund
Donation protected
Our friend, and brother Josh Rice was involved in a motorcycle accident last week that left him with a shattered arm, a totaled Harley, and so many reasons to be thankful that he's alive. This accident and the associated recovery time has created a financial burden; Josh’s family could use our help in his time of need.
For those of us who were on the CAF Team with Josh, you know how tough and stubborn he is! He isn't the type of person who is going to ask for help; he’s the type of guy who tears his IT band on the first day of selection and refuses to quit—even going to great lengths to hide his injury so the selection cadre didn't see it and medically drop him from the course. From those early days in selection, I realized he was going to be there till the end, and no matter how bad it got, he always had a smile on his face and a subtle confidence that I always admired.
Those characteristics that made Josh successful in selection were also the foundations for his success on the CAF Team. For those of us fortunate enough to call Josh a brother, you know without any hesitation he would give you the shirt of his back. Now, its our turn to do the same.
Josh’s ulna (forearm) was essentially completely destroyed in the accident. He has steel rods and pins holding his arm together. As such, he is also out of work for some time. Miscellaneous expenses are piling up and his family could use the help. Please take the time to donate whatever amount you can to help our brother get back on his feet.
