Jess, my brother-in-law, is a fun-loving and kind 36-year-old who has recently been diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma, an aggressive and terminal brain cancer. He is the proud father of two beautiful daughters, aged 10 and 8, and is engaged to my sister, Kristina, with plans to marry in 2026. We’re raising funds to help him access a groundbreaking immunotherapy treatment that isn’t available in Australia.
In September 2025, Jess suffered an unexpected seizure and was soon after given this devastating diagnosis. He has since undergone major surgery to remove as much of the tumour as possible and is now receiving radiation and chemotherapy. Unfortunately, standard treatment offers very limited hope for long-term survival.
There is, however, a promising immunotherapy program in Germany that has shown encouraging results. It involves creating personalised vaccines made from his own tumour tissue, designed to help his immune system recognise and fight the cancer more effectively. It involves travelling to Germany monthly for a year and the costs are significant. Funds raised will go directly to Jess to put towards the treatment, flights, other travel expenses and associated medical expenses.
Jess brings joy to everyone around him. He loves travelling, discovering new restaurants, watching football and Formula 1. Most of all, he loves being silly and dancing the night away with Kristina. He’s fighting not only for his life but for more precious time with Kristina and his daughters.
Any donation, big or small, will help give Jess the chance to access this cutting-edge treatment. Please share this page to help spread the word.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity and support in helping Jess fight this battle.
