Support Jeremiah's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
We are the Stevens family. Doug, Sandy, Josh & Jeremiah.
Our youngest son Jeremiah (38) was preparing for work on June 4th when a sharp pain in his chest followed by the feeling of his chest caving in dropped him to the floor. He managed to get to the nearest urgent care center. An X-ray showed that his right lung had completely collapsed, and they had him transported to the ER. The doctors determined he had suffered a “Spontaneous Lung Collapse” from the rupture of a “lung bleb” (a pocket of air that built up under the outer wall of the lung). They performed the necessary (very painful) surgery and he was in the hospital for 2 weeks. He is now continuing his recovery at home.
Jeremiah is a landscaper, which is very physically demanding. This unfortunate situation has cost him to lose his income while in the hospital and going forward, not knowing when he will be able to return to work fully recovered. He is a hardworking, kind, caring, passionate individual and deserves a miracle.
We humbly ask that you donate what you can to help him with rent, food, utilities and other expenses, including any remaining medical expenses after insurance payments. He lives in Oakland, CA where the cost of living is very high. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
