WED DEC 12, 2018. HER TINY GIRL 'SUMMER' was just a sweet little girl with an upper respiratory.........THURS DEC 13....she was life-flighted to Akron Children's Hospital, fighting for her life, diagnosed with Pneumoccocal Meningitis.....
AT 2 YEARS OLD and after 4 Pneumoccocal Meningitis vaccines.
The past days have been Hell, with setback after setback. Friends and family have tried to help with caring for the kids back home in Trumbull Co, commuting to Akron at all hours, and trying to keep vigil at Summer's bedside in ICU.
The news is not good: CTScans, blood transfusion, possible blood clots affecting the whole brain.....the Palliative Care Team is now involved. Hearts are so broken, and the daily burden just to continue on is crushing.
PLEASE PRAY for this family, and if the season has left you with even a little extra, PLEASE consider helping them carry this heavy burden. This plea is NOT from them, but from those who love them. God bless.
