Laura’s Dream


My wife, Laura Chavez, had a passion for helping others. Unfortunately, as some of you may know, her life was cut short and she passed on November 19, 2018. Our family is committed to helping her dream of charitable work endure. Our focus will be to help those in need in Manta and its province, Manabi in Ecuador. We are so thankful for all the friends and family that have shown their support and we are deeply touched by the overwhelming amount of messages full of love. Many of you have reached out to ask how you can pay your respects to my wife. In lieu of flowers, we kindly request donations be made to this GoFundMe page which will help us set up an organization that will continue helping those in need in Laura's honor.





Mi esposa, Laura Chavez, tenía la pasión de ayudar a los demás. Desafortunadamente, como algunos de ustedes saben, su vida fue acortada tempranamente, y nos dejó el 19 de Noviembre del 2018. Nuestra familia está comprometida a mantener vivo su sueño de ayuda social. Nuestro enfoque será ayudar a los más necesitados en Manta, y en su provincia, Manabí, en Ecuador. Estamos muy agredecidos por todo el apoyo recibido por amigos y familiares, y profundamente conmovidos por la enorme cantidad de mensajes llenos de amor.
