Martha's car accident recovery

Donation protected
When Martha showed up at our house with a scrap book of all the children she has cared for instead of a resume, we knew that she would become a big part of our family. And so it was. She started caring for our little Frida when she was two months old.

Martha got into an accident this past week when her car spun out on ice and into a truck in oncoming traffic. She was unconscious and taken to the hospital. She has a fractured vertebra and many sprains and bruises on her entire body. The road to recovery will be long and hard.

Her medical and therapy bills will be high. Her car is totalled and she will need a new one. This is where I hope you can help.

Martha is a caretaker at heart. With love and optimisim, she cares for her husband who has survived a stroke. She cares for Frida every week and for Andreas when he is sick. She cares for Matt and me with shopping, laundry and cooking. But now it's time to take care of Martha. Matt and I are helping as much as we can and ask you to please consider donating to her recovery if you can. For any help, we will be forever grateful.
