Molly's cancer treatment

Donation protected
About 2 1/2 weeks ago I took Molly to the emergency vet for vomiting. She ended up puking up a portion of a bully stick but when the vet was lifting her onto the exam table she felt a lump on the left side of Molly's neck. We had X-rays done to ensure there was no obstruction and saw that the mass is pushing molly's esophagus to the left.
On Tuesday October 4th Molly had an appointment with her primary vet to do the biopsy. After about 8 hours we still hadn't received a call to pick her up, (I was anxiously competing a puzzle) and called the office. I had a terrible feeling. The receptionist said that the vet wanted to speak with us. The vet explained that they had completed the fine needle aspiration and examined the cells, they were abnormal and believed to be cancerous. I was refered back to Advanced Veterinary Care who has an oncology department. I was able to get Molly in today on Thursday October 6th because they had a cancellation. I met with the oncologist who examined Molly and said that she would need a CT to determine if the cancer has spread and if it's operable. The vet says that Molly could have 2-3 years if the cancer is removed. Without removal she believes the tumor will begin to inhibit her from swallowing within 3-6 months. The cost of the anesthesia and CT is $3608.75-$4468.26. This is just to determine whether the tumor can be removed and if it's spread. The surgical team sent me an estimate for removal. I was told that the cost might change depending on what they see on CT because of all of the viens in the area. That estimate is an additional $3208.28-$4267.19.
Best case scenario we get the CT and the cancer is operable, the total cost will be over $8,000.
Molly is my best friend. She's such a sweet girl and deserves a chance to live out the rest of her life cancer free. Molly loves hiking, spinning her but in the water, biting sprinklers, hugs, butt scratches, almost ANY food but is partial to peanut butter and cheese. She is incredibly patient and wonderful with dogs and kids. People stop me everyday and comment on how pretty she is and ask her age, usually guessing around 3 or 4. My girl is 9 but you would never know it by her appearance or demeanor.
Molly has been with me for almost 5 years and they've been the best 5 years of my life. She helped me rekindle my passion for hiking when I had forgotten I'd loved so much. She has kept me on a routine that's kept us both healthy until now. Please help me give her shot at living out her last years in good health. You're help means the world to us.
