My amazing big sister is a loving mum to three wonderful kids, but she also lives with epilepsy. As anyone who knows epilepsy understands, seizures can be unpredictable and sometimes dangerous — especially during the night.
One of the most important things that could help keep her safe is an epilepsy alarm/monitor. These devices can detect seizures and alert someone immediately, giving her family the chance to respond quickly if she needs help. For a mum raising three children, that kind of safety and reassurance means everything.
Unfortunately, the NHS doesn’t provide these monitors, and the cost is far more than our family can manage alone. These devices can cost hundreds of pounds, but they can quite literally be life-saving.
We’re hoping to raise enough money to buy a reliable epilepsy alarm/monitor that will help protect her and give her children peace of mind knowing their mum has an extra layer of safety.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small the amount, it would mean the world to us. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing this page would help more people see it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and for helping us keep a mum safe for her children.
With gratitude,
Erin
