Nurses get sick too
Donation protected
A really great friend of mine’s was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is a neonatal nurse, yes I think it sucks too not that nurses think they are better than other people but I just feel personally that children and nurses should be exempted from cancer unfortunately cancer does not discriminate when it comes to age or profession. If you ever met Greg or had the pleasure to have him care for your premature infant you understand why I felt the need to launch this campaign. Greg is not only a nurse he’s also a comedian. He understands that laughter is medicine to the soul. Many of you have probably been to one of his shows and he managed to put a smile on your face. He is passionate about being a comedian as much as he is passionate about caring for sick premature babies. Greg has had a difficult time processing this new diagnosis as can be expected. He recently underwent surgery to remove the cancer and is currently recovering. He has a daughter in college. The diagnosis has been stressful along with other personal issues. I encourage family and friends to reach out to him to offer your prayers and best wishes. I know he will appreciate that very much.
Starting this GoFundMe page is a small token of what Greg means to me his family, patients and many friends. Let’s show him some love by providing a little financial cushion during his recovery and lets all wish him a speedy recovery so he can get back to caring for those babies and making us laugh.
