Help Me Get My Smile Back
Donation protected
Hey everyone! I have to say I am very nervous asking for this because this is not who I am at all, but many people have told me to and I need the help and assistance. Most of my family and friends know I have had issues with my teeth for a while, constantly in pain, infections, or having to get teeth extracted. I am trying to get my smile back and this will benefit my health also! One day I’d love to be able to look at myself and be proud of my appearance and have confidence again. My dentist gave me total price $3,500 for the extractions of my teeth, dentures top and bottom, and everything needed for the surgery. So please any donation will help towards my goal and please can you take the time to share this!
If you would rather give directly to the dentist office for this the information is:

My story:
My name is Deiona, I am 24 years old and I am a mom of two beautiful toddlers. At 18 years old is when my teeth began to go downhill, at the time I had insurance that covered for dental work. I went to the dentist and had 13 cavities and we began filling them and fixing them. When I was 19 I had moved to Alabama and lost my NJ Medicaid insurance, but that wouldn’t of mattered because in Alabama Medicaid does not cover dental work for adults over the age of 19. I do currently have Medicaid but only covers for health and vision. My teeth started to cause me issues because I couldn’t afford any cost of fixing my teeth. It began to get worse and worse, from having to get extraction after extraction from teeth breaking off, cracks, exposed nerves, throbbing teeth pain, really bad cavities turning into abscesses and infections. When I got pregnant with my first child at the age of 21 my teeth began to get worse and deteriorate. A year later I was pregnant with my second child at 22. I had a very bad tooth infection, I had a fever, did not feel good, and my face was swollen had to get that tooth extracted immediately since I was pregnant and didn’t want to risk anything for either of us. Teeth infection are very scary they can spread to your brain or heart. I was paying for extractions and such all out of pocket. I could not afford $2,000 per tooth for a root canal. So all the cracked, chipped, cavity teeth just lead to needing extractions. A few weeks ago I had another bad tooth infection but this time on two of my upper teeth that needed extractions because they were abscessed. This is what my dentist had told me and I found out all my teeth are dissolving and cannot be saved. Your teeth dissolve from numerous things but mine was from acids from your stomach (which pregnancy does this and having acid reflux as well). My dentist told me the best solution for me is to pull the remaining teeth I have left which is a total of 18 and put immediate dentures top and bottom so I don’t have to go without teeth since I am only 24 years old. This has been very emotional, mentally, and physically draining; being so young and not having any teeth left and having no confidence in my smile. The pictures below will show you the overall shape left of my teeth and having no enamel left to protect my teeth. Again thank you so much for taking the time to read and help out anyway possible!
