My name is Allie Greene, and I am raising money for my mom, Melissa Hunt-Greene, who was diagnosed with HER2 positive breast cancer on April 9, 2025.

My mom is an amazing 5th grade teacher in Gainesville ISD. While we are incredibly grateful that her job provides health insurance, she will still be paying out of pocket for many of the expenses, including tests, chemotherapy, treatments, travel, etc.

She began chemotherapy on May 13th, and we are hoping to raise enough money to alleviate some of the stress that has come along with this diagnosis. Thankfully, the cancer has not spread, and she was able to begin treatment as soon as possible to hopefully avoid that possibility. After chemotherapy, she will eventually also have to have surgery.
