Please help Christopher's tongue cancer recovery

Donation protected
UPDATE - FEBUARY 2024 - Christopher is recovering at home, working 30 plus hours a week with multiple medical appointments every week. He has therapy for speech and lymphedema and dental work being done. On 2/22 he has PET scan to see status of any progression of the disease. We are praying for a good report. We thank you for your prayers, good wishes and donations. They are greatly appreciated. Will update as medical care progresses. Thank you all again !!

My son, Christopher Lee Simmonds, musician, singer, who lives in the Pittsburgh PA area, has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of his tongue. A 10 hour surgery was done 12/8 at UPMC. He now has a tracheotomy and feeding tube and will have speech and swallow rehabilitation. He had just started a new job working in realty/rentals a couple months ago so he has no PTO or sick time pay while not working. He will need help with medical and dental expenses as well as rehab and his monthly bills. He hopes to work from home during recovery eventually. Any and all help is appreciated during this most difficult time. Christopher is strong and determined and will fight to regain his life. Thank you very much.
