As a few may know by now, I have been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma since January 3rd of 2018. To share a brief description on this disease, it is cancer that attacks lymph nodes in the lymphatic system which works very vital with the immune system. Although this disease is the most treatable type of cancer out there, it comes with unfortunate costs. With that being said, things can easily turn into a gridlock situation. Money gets scarce and is seen as a virtue at times like this. Adapting to a situation like this at a young age of 18 took time to comprehend. I went from having a routine, like many people do with their lives, such as going to work and college. A healthy routine I became accustomed to as an individual. Through this setback I am going through in my life my routine cannot flourish. This means no more source of income since I have a PICC line inserted in my left bicep, indicating that my type of labor for work isn’t prohibited for this circumstance. Unfortunately, no schooling for a while either since my overall condition takes too much time away from it & it starts to get discouraging. I hope to get back to my beloved routine after I finish my main Stem Cell Transplant in which i will be hospitalized for 3 weeks. I am currently building this GoFundMe for myself as I lay in my hospital bed on day number one.All in all, as I go through my journey to beating cancer I hope you can all be apart of all the love and support I can possibly receive to ease my integrity. The integrity in which I can’t bare to lose since I can no longer produce for myself as of right now.
