My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer on 5/9 that had spread to his liver. He went to the hospital on 5/14 for weakness and short of breath so he was sent to st louis for an official diagnosis and our options which was hospice because his liver was not functioning. He came home 5/29 on hospice and passed 6/1. So with that being said he had no life insurance policy. Just a few grand saved. Funerals are not cheap by any means. Honestly any bit helps and is appreciated.
