Hello, my name is Karli Porter. Our family began this fundraiser for my Aunt Stacie Carter and her family who have lost their home, cars, and 50 years of personal belongings to last Saturday’s Tornado in Madison County. This tremendous loss has displaced Stacie, Chad, Josie, Cael and Jaxon to a hotel until further notice. While our family is continually strong and resilient, we are asking for the help of our communities to ensure that their stability faces no further significant disruption while they rebuild their home and their attempt at normalcy. We have all been so deeply moved by the kindness and quick action our neighbors as well as complete strangers have shown us in the most difficult time we have faced together. We thank each and every individual who has reached out a helping and caring hand to us while we attempt to rebuild what they have lost.
