Jeremiah’s Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
On May 31st, Jeremiah’s mother got the call no mother wants to receive. She was finishing up on a mission trip in Peru caring for babies and children when she found out her baby, Jeremiah, and a close friend were involved in a tragic accident where a truck hit their ATV here in the US. Both boys were quickly care-flighted to a children’s hospital and she did everything to immediately rush to get back to his side with the rest of his family.
Jeremiah is currently in ICU in critical condition requiring a breathing tube and he has undergone multiple blood transfusions and surgeries for his many broken bones. He is also dealing with other internal injuries and broken ribs that will require time to heal. While he has already come so far, he still has a long way to go and, with that, more surgeries to get him well enough before we can focus on next steps.
He is our miracle boy and all of his family remain by his side as he navigates this hard time. Due to the increased costs from ongoing care, time off work to be at the hospital, and other necessary costs, we are asking for donations from the community. Any help that can be provided, no matter the amount, means so much to us and will help tremendously during this time. It will allow us to stay with our baby as he navigates this journey of healing.
Our biggest request is that you please keep him and his friend in your prayers during this difficult time. Thank you so much for all you chose to do or give. It means the world to us.
