Hi my name is Bonny. My partner is John. This photo was taken following the removal of one of four brain tumours. This time last year, we got the devastating news that John had lung cancer. A ten cm mass in his left lung. This past Aug. we learned that the lung cancer has spread to his brain. His prognosis is that he may be down to his final four months of life. John has a bucket list. He would like to go to a professional hockey game, have a gathering of friends and family to say his good byes and he would like to donate his body to science (costs money to transport him post death) and of course celebration of life afterwards. He is a pensioner. I work but with high costs of…. Everything, we are stretched to our limit financially. Hence why I decided to go this route. I want to honour the love of my life’s final wishes! We aren’t looking to get rich, just cover costs. John has volunteered in his community with Hamilton Legal Clinic, Income Security Advocacy Centre and is a staunch advocate for Basic Income so that all Canadians have a better standard of life!
