*In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.*
Dear Beloved,
I am Bilal Fakhri Al-Kafarna, a journalist in Gaza. Today, I come to you with a bleeding heart and a tormented soul, as I have no choice but to appeal to you for help. I am 35 years old, a father, with a small family living in the midst of one of the most dangerous areas in the world.
We have fled, dear ones, from the devastating bombardment that destroyed our home completely, along with my office (GCS Company). We find ourselves now living in a small tent on the Egyptian border in Rafah. We painfully suffer from the lack of a roof over our heads or ground beneath our feet. The nights are cold, and the chill pierces our bare bodies. However, we have no clean water for drinking or daily use, and my children suffer from hunger and deteriorating health. Especially my pregnant wife, whom we cannot provide with medical care and suffers from malnutrition and severe infections.
I struggle to gather funds to continue securing a home for my family to protect them from the summer heat and winter cold, and to purchase some equipment that was destroyed due to the bombardment to continue my journalistic career. It's my duty to continue my journalistic work as I work as a broadcast engineer and videographer in the company, where I have lost the cameras and broadcasting equipment necessary for work.
Honestly, I am here to ask for your help and support by creating a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe. I hope you understand the difficult situation we are going through and respond to my plea with humanitarianism and mercy. Don't just be spectators, but be a part of changing my life and my family's life, and help me rebuild their present and future.
Thank you for your understanding and generosity. I pray that Allah rewards you with goodness and protects you and your loved ones from all harm.
Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
