I adopted Larry 5 days ago from Lifeline Animal Rescue. He was in great health, happy, and him and I had a special bond from the minute we met. He laid on my lap for 2 hours before I took him home. He loved his new house, his new brother Bob, and purred constantly. 3 days later, he suddenly stopped eating, dehydrated quickly, and was losing weight fast. I rushed him to the ER at 2 a.m. , and was told he is severely anemic and needs a blood transfusion, antibiotics, fluids, and oxygen. He was down to 1 pound.  He's fighting for his life and needs help.  He is the sweetest little guy, and even with an oxygen mask he's charming the entire staff at St Francis Emergency Vet in Decatur.
