We need your help! The annual Christmas party for the residents of Unit 720 at Central Mississippi Correctional Facility will be held on Saturday December 14th - this is the fifteen year we've hosted the event, and if you've ever participated you know how special it is for everyone involved.
As usual, our plan is to gather the morning of the 14th at Galloway Methodist Church to make the (approximately) 1,000 sandwiches that we’ll serve that afternoon. Anyone with a MDOC white badge is welcome to join us to serve at the prison later that afternoon.
The CMCF Christmas Party is not a Kairos sponsored event, but we've found it to be an excellent recruiting tool to introduce prison ministry to new folks. We hope you can come support this experience and make it another great success.
We anticipate the cost to be $5,000. We're relying on the generosity of folks like you to help us reach this goal. Your generosity will help bring some Christmas cheer and the light of Christ to the residents of CMCF!
