Hi, my name is Beth, and right now my husband Silas, our best friend Sarah, and I are going through a major life transition that we never expected to face. A lot has fallen apart all at once—housing, finances, health, and support—and we are trying our best to rebuild with honesty, courage, and faith.
Over the next few weeks, we will be packing everything we own and relocating from Illinois to Tennessee. This move is our chance at a safer, more stable life:
• It brings Sarah closer to her daughters
• It gives Silas and me the chance to start over in a healthier environment
• And it gives all three of us the opportunity to rebuild with stability, consistency, and peace
But right now, we are facing something we never imagined: we will be without stable housing while we work toward this move.
We’ve been doing everything we can to hold things together. Silas is working. We’ve cut every possible expense. We’ve paid utilities and covered what we could. But between medical issues, financial struggles, mental health crises in the family, and the reality that we are not allowed to live where we are currently staying, everything has reached a point we can’t fix on our own.
Very soon, we will be living out of our vehicles while we pack, work, and prepare to move to Tennessee.
We are staying grounded in faith, trusting that God is guiding every step—but we also know we need help to get through this safely.
People keep asking what they can do.
The truth is simple: we need financial support to survive this transition.
Your contribution would help us:
• Keep gas in our cars while we navigate temporary living
• Afford food and basic necessities
• Maintain warmth and safety through the winter nights
• Buy packing supplies and prepare our belongings
• Save for the move to Tennessee
• Avoid dangerous or freezing sleeping situations
• Take a little time off work to pack and get things in order
• Create a safer foundation for all of us as we rebuild
We’re not asking for extras. We’re asking for a chance to breathe long enough to get through this period safely and make it to our new beginning.
If you feel led to donate, share, or pray over us, we are deeply grateful.
Every dollar helps.
Every share matters.
Every prayer truly carries us.
Thank you for being part of the bridge that keeps us from falling through the cracks. With your support, this painful moment becomes the starting point of our fresh start.
With love, humility, and hope,
Beth, Silas & Sarah
